CSJ helps Blue Boi the starved Lurcher
Blue Boi, a 3-5 year old Lurcher weighing only 9kg found at the side of a main road and taken to Vale Cat Rescue, had been so badly starved that his skin had broken down to expose his backbone and he had huge open abscesses on his thighs.
Thanks to the kind hearted care of Denise Selway and other volunteers of the Gwent based charity plus help from CSJ products Blue Boi has to date gained 6kg and his skin, sores and abscesses have completely healed and the hair grown back.
The charity was founded in 2009 to rescue cats in the local area and has since has helped over 600 cats and kittens, along with 6 four week old puppies which were going to be euthanized, rabbits, hamsters, hedgehogs and of course Blue Boi.
Denise says, “The lady who brought Blue Boi in was convinced he would have to be put down but despite his horrific state he still had a twinkle in his eye and I was determined to save his life. We are so grateful to CSJ for their generosity, kindness and products. Their products and food have helped him so much and it is wonderful the personal care they give their customers. Blue Boi is being fed on CSJ’s Lamb and Rice food and their Skinny products really helped his sores – you can see from the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos how beautifully they have healed.”
Blue Boi is now in a foster home awaiting a very special loving home. He bonds very quickly with people who show him kindness and, unsurprisingly given his experience, suffers from separation anxiety when left alone so Vale Cat Rescue and his fosterer are carefully vetting prospective adopters to ensure that his next home will be totally suitable, sympathetic and permanent.

Heal works! Great value too!
I just wanted to write to say how impressed and pleased I am with "Heal". My Boxer, Amber has always had a delicate stomach and would often be off her food 2-3 times a week, waking me up in the night to go outside with a gurgling tummy, eating grass and looking thoroughly fed up until late afternoon when she would recover and start eating.
Since starting her on "Heal" she no longer disturbs us at night to go outside and only has a sore tummy very occasionally...maybe once or twice a month at the most, which is a vast improvement!! and means that I get my sleep!!
When I finished the first tub of "Heal" it took me about a month to get round to re-ordering, and during that time she went back to having a sore stomach a few times a week, which just confirmed to me that the herbs really do soothe and calm her digestive system and since starting them again she has been fine.
I am also impressed with the value for money compared to other herbal products. The tubs are massive and last for ages, and smell really nice too.
Many thanks
Susan
