Dunfionn success at the S W Scot. Gundog Open Show

"Took my two 7 month old puppies to their first show at the weekend, the South West Scotland Gundog Open Show at Lanark.

There were 6 classes of Gordons and 23 entries.

My puppies were 1st and 2nd in the Puppy class then Isla (Dunfionn Nethy) went on the win Best of Breed which is just amazing for a 7 month old puppy.

Both youngsters have been reared exclusively on CSJ Command Performance and have grown really evenly and have super coats - so pleased with them!"

Oldest BVIS wins - with a little help from CSJ!

Hi Ceri, just to let CSJ know I have3 border collies who compete in obedience.  My old lady at 13 is now retired from obedience but has found a 2nd career winning veteran classes in the breed ring! Yesterday she won the open BC class then won the AV Pastoral Veteran class and then went on to take Best Veteran In Show, not bad for an old lady who was giving about 3-4 years to the other veteran group winners.

I had a hard job to convince several people ring side that she was 13 no one could believe she was more than the min veteran age of 7 and I was told by the chairman of the club that she was the oldest BVIS they had every had.

So many thanks CSJ for keeping my old lady fit and healthy and letting her start a new career!!

Regards
Eleanor and Ringslade Molly Malone at Shamorel aka Tess
