The Labrador Club of Scotland

The Labrador Club of Scotland’s Annual (A.V. Retriever) Gundog Working Test which is sponsored by CSJ Specialist Canine Feeds was held at Glenalmond Estate, Perthshire on Sunday 3rd June 2012 by kind permission of Mr H.R Astrup and his head keeper Brian Dixon.

It was a great day on absolutely fantastic ground and with an excellent range of tests being set up by our judges Joe Maclure, Alan Meldrum, George Greig, Lois Holmes ably assisted by trainee judge Nikki Waddington.  The weather was excellent and we also had a nice breeze to aid the dogs and keep the dreaded midgies away for the majority of the day.

There was an excellent turn out for the event with a total of 62 retrievers competing in the various Stakes. All competitors and spectators appeared to have a really enjoyable event and there was a really good buzz about the place all day with some excellent banter being enjoyed throughout.

Every member of the Field Trials Sub Committee was in attendance and everyone worked extremely hard to ensure that the day went without a hitch.

The Field Trials Secretary Stan Payne and Mike Rolland donated a new trophy to the club for the Open Test. “The Braalcastle & Cardy Trophy” which was won by Erica Munro Ferguson.

So impressed with the CP Xtra!

Hi Ceri,

I am so impressed with the CP Extra. I use it as a 'balancer' to my natural feeding and it's been brilliant. I was having terrible trouble getting some weight on my cockers, but after only 3 weeks of combining CP Extra with their food, they started filling out, and now they look lovely, are much more relaxed, and really enjoy their food.

My other dogs are also fed on CSJ and I have to say, I would not feed anything else now. I'm very impressed!!
