'Rooky' Warrington Teams make top 4 at Crufts

3 years ago we qualified for Crufts Flyball Team Championships with our team Warrington Wizards but it took us this time to get this team and another Warrington Warriors into the event at the NEC, Birmingham this year.

Previously when we raced in this competition the dogs caught the ball in the air from the Premier box which flung it from the back. This year was the first time the International standard box, which is used at BFA Flyball competitions, was used. This meant more teams than previously could enter with the familiar equipment.

Between May and September 2009 about 100 teams entered qualifying rounds and we started our journey with 4 of our teams at Nuneaton, without any success. The next qualifier in Coventry, Warriors won the competition and got through. Lastly in July our Wizards team were successful in Edinburgh.

Over the winter months we practised hard to master the Crufts flyball rules that we weren't used to - in shorter arenas, and the crossovers between dogs much less tight, because of the judging by eye, rather than electronically. Our final rehearsal was 2 weeks from the Finals, following the indoor BFA tournament we'd organised at Deeside Leisure Centre, North Wales.

Our rehearsal wasn't entirely successful but like all ‘performances' we hoped it would be OK on the day! We had no illusions and took one day at a time. Sponsored by CSJ our yellow & blue uniform looked smart and we were ready to take on anybody. Wizards qualified first on Thursday and won the day's competition. Warriors won their race to go through from Friday's competition.

There were then 8 teams left for Saturday afternoon's Semi Finals, half the number that set out from Thursday. By now we were a lot more confident and both teams cruised to the Finals to be held in the evening, same day. Out of the 4 teams remaining we had 2 teams and we believe it made history with no club having achieved this in previous years in the competition. Wizards beat Warriors to go into the final v Nuneaton Titans. We were disappointed that we didn't take the ultimate crown but overall we felt for a ‘rooky' with little previous experience it was an enormous achievement to reach the final against teams that had been competing at Crufts for many, many years. Should we qualify this year we'll be back at Crufts 2011 much wiser and stronger!

In BFA Competitions Live Wires in 1st place still lead the way where currently we have 3 teams in the top 8 in the seed list (of over 250 teams), which bodes well for the summer competitions which begin next month..

It shows how CSJ food & herbs considerably help our team dogs keep fit, healthy and gives them the speed and stamina to still take on and beat the best in the UK.

Get Over! is fantastic!

Get Over! is fantastic!
Just wanted to let you know how fantastic your product "Get Over" is.

I have a golden retriever who has had very bad hip displacia in both hips for which she has had 2 successful operations. Then she had a bad limp on her left elbow, I was devastated as just spent a fortune getting her hips done only for something else to go wrong. Nothing surgical could be done it was just her bad breeding again, the elbow was inflammed and probably has arthritis even tho she is only 2 years old bless her. Your company and product was recommended to me by a friend.

I purchased "Get Over" and it said on the instructions that it may take 2 or 3 weeks for the herbs to work. Well, let me tell you in our case it took 2 days!!!!! I only need 1 spoonful on her meal once each day and she has not limped since. I cannot believe it, no tablets or vet bills - just sprinkle on these herbs and hey presto!!!

I cannot thank you enough, what a relief after 2 years of vet bills and operations and millions of tablets. She is looking and obviously feeling so good at the moment, her coat is great too.

I have just purchased my second tub and will continue to do so for the rest of her days.

Don't suppose you have got the same sort of thing for humans have you? I could do with some of the magic herbs!!!!!

Thanks again
Carol Hodder & a very well & happy Nala
