John Drury
John has just won the coveted Retriever Championships in December 2004 with his Field Trial Champion, F.T. Ch Tweedshot Kite, pictured here with the trophy.
John’s wife Brenda ably assists in running the kennels and is very hands on in rearing the puppies.
Kennel role of honour:-
F.T. Ch Drakeshead Thorne – John’s first Champion and first Labrador. She gained her title at two and a half years old and produced F.T. Ch Brenjon Dirk and F.T. Ch Brenjon Flint. She won the Tower Bird Trophy and Dunlon Shield in the same year that she was the top winning Retriever in the country.
F.T. Ch Brenjon Cleopatra came next and won four Field Trials. She was the top winning Golden Retriever in both 1980 and 1981.
F.T. Ch Brenjon Flint, a yellow Labrador, was John’s third Champion. He won numerous awards and qualified for the Retriever Championships in three consecutive years.
F.T. Ch Dash of Tweedshot is the kennel’s biggest winning Labrador, with eight field trials to his credit. The sire of many Field Trial winners, Dash gained his title at five years old.
T.T. Ch Tweedshot Kite had an early lead in the 2004 Retriever Championships, which he maintained over the whole three days to win the Champion Stake.

So impressed with the CP Xtra!
Hi Ceri,
I am so impressed with the CP Extra. I use it as a 'balancer' to my natural feeding and it's been brilliant. I was having terrible trouble getting some weight on my cockers, but after only 3 weeks of combining CP Extra with their food, they started filling out, and now they look lovely, are much more relaxed, and really enjoy their food.
My other dogs are also fed on CSJ and I have to say, I would not feed anything else now. I'm very impressed!!
